The curriculum

Every concept in this curriculum carries a status, and you can see it on the concept itself. We put it there because the alternative — teaching everything in the same confident voice — is how people lose money.

• UNEXAMINEDTaught here, not yet tested by us. Most of the curriculum sits here at launch.
• VERIFIEDTested on data the model had never seen, and the report is written up.
• TAUGHT_AGAINSTWe tested it, it did not hold, and we teach why it fails rather than quietly dropping it.
• DECLARED_UNIMPLEMENTEDNamed and defined, with no working code behind it yet. Said out loud instead of implied.

At launch most concepts read UNEXAMINED. That is deliberate. A badge that said VERIFIED before the work was done would be the one dishonest thing in the whole programme. They move as the evidence arrives, and you will be able to see them move.
